This is a radiology system making tomographic sections of the human body, in order to reconstitute it.

A PC makes the acquisition and reconstruction of the image part. An ISA motherboard is plugged into this PC, with TIM modules on it. There are four TMS320C40 processors on the modules with 0.5 MB SRAM memory on both busses (local and global) for each processor.

Each processor is in loaded with one program allowing it to reconstruct the image according to the angle under which it got the image. The global images then finalized and displayed by the PC.

The software has been developed with Windows NT.

The whole system has been ISO 9001 approved.
